Welcome to QWC
In my company, I create 3D printed mouthpieces for band students that forgot theirs at home. So far, we are only testing this idea and we are not sure if this idea will become a reality.

How do Mouthpieces Work?
The purpose of a mouthpiece is to produce sound to go into the instrument. A mouthpiece works by allowing your lips to create a buzzing noise. Your buzzing will be sent through the instrument, and eventually the volume of the buzzing will be increased as it exits the instrument. A mouthpiece is necessary for the instrument because it directs the sound directly into the instrument to produce a sound.

Types of Mouthpieces that I Plan to Create
CustomizationI am planning to create various sizes of mouthpieces for each instrument that uses a mouthpiece, like French Horn, Trumpet, and Tuba mouthpieces.

Plan, create prototypes. Achieve, obtain success. Produce, Help the world.
All the Tools I Need to Succeed
First, I will need a 3D printer with 3D print filament because all the mouthpieces that I create will be 3D printed because this process is cheap, and I can customize each mouthpiece to fit different students' needs.
|
Next, I will need 3D print editing software (Tinkercad.com) and I will need people to test my 3D printed mouthpieces that I create for other instruments because I only play French Horn, so I will only be able to test mouthpieces for that specific instrument.
